Job Specifications: Stile & Rail Wood Doors

Custom Stile and Rail Interior Door by Commercial Door & Specialties, Inc.

1) Specie & Cut for this Project:  Plain Slice Red Oak

2) Glass & Glazing for this Project: Low E 1” Insulated Glass-Tempered

3) Panel Stile for This Project:  Flat Panel or Raised Panel

4) Finish for this Project:

Stain color:  Either Specify a Manufacturers Stain or to Match Existing

                 Top Coat:  Gemini PUR 0530 Polyurethane, Minimum 2 Mil.

5) Construction: All Stile and rail doors and wood frames manufactured by Commercial Door & Specialties, Inc. are manufactured using solid lumber only.

a) Interior Frames- ¾” Jamb with 7/16” or ½” door stop. (1 3/16” or 1 ½” overall thickness) None required

b) Exterior Frames- 1 1/2” Jamb with ½” door stop. ( 1 3/4” overall thickness) None required

c) Interior Stile and Rail Doors: 1 3/8” & 1 ¾” typical- (other thicknesses are available) (minimum of 2 layer construction)

d) Exterior Stile and Rail: 1 ¾” Typical at 7-0 height - (other thicknesses are available) (minimum of 3 layer construction)

          (Typical ¾” + ¼” + ¾” lay up) N/A

e) Exterior Stile and Rail: 2” Typical at 8-0 height - (other thicknesses are available) (minimum of 3 layer construction)
